Everything about it is a roll. The seat and back are channelled into wide vertical flutes, the arms are two barrels laid on their side, and the whole thing sits low on the floor with no leg showing anywhere.

The arms carry on round to meet the back in one continuous line, so from above the sofa is a closed loop rather than a bench with two ends stuck on. That is what makes it read as one object instead of an assembly.

The back is finished in the same channelled bouclé as the front. It can stand in the middle of a room.
