Size

A cream cushion held in a black lacquered cradle. The frame runs under the seat and turns up at both ends, so the cushion is carried rather than fixed, and the ends read as low arms without actually being arms.

The black is stained, not painted: the grain stays visible, which is what keeps a dark frame from looking like plastic. Two rounded plinth legs sit inboard of the ends.

Two lengths: 80 and 100 cm.
