Two charcoal blocks pushed together, and that is the whole sofa. The arms are thick rounded tubes that turn the corner and run straight into the back, so from the side the piece is one closed rectangle with the edges taken off.

There is no wooden frame inside it. The foam is the structure, which is why it compresses for shipping and why it gives the moment you sit rather than resisting for the first inch.

Two loose cushions in the same cloth, and a base recessed so far under the body that the sofa appears to sit straight on the floor.

62 cm high and 100 cm deep. In three straight lengths and one corner.
