A midcentury bench with two different legs: a turned conical pedestal at one end, a flat slab at the other. It is an asymmetry you notice from the side and forget from the front, and it is the reason the piece looks lighter than its length.

The pads sit in a shallow walnut tray with a rounded lip, so they are held rather than fixed. Choose them all in black, or in the cream and black pairing.

Three lengths: 100, 120 and 150 cm.
