Size

A rounded ivory bouclé block lifted on four small walnut wedges. The wedges are barely there, which is the point: they hold the mass just clear of the floor so it reads as resting rather than sitting.

At 45 cm deep it is deeper than most benches and closer to an ottoman. That makes it as useful in front of a sofa as at the end of a bed, and comfortable enough to stay on.

Two lengths: 80 and 100 cm.
