Ouate Sofa

Cream bouclé channelled into wide horizontal bands that run the whole way round — across the seat, up the back, and out along the arms, which curve forward at each end like the sides of a tub. There is not a straight line or a sharp corner anywhere on it.

The maker builds it without a wooden frame. The structure is the foam itself, which is why it can be compressed for shipping and why the whole thing gives when you sit down rather than resisting for the first inch.

90 cm deep and 65 cm high, so it sits low and reads soft even in a hard room.

In three lengths: 120 cm for a corner, 160 for two, 210 for three.
